Boston Data & Analytics Service Firm Names New COO
LEXINGTON, MA – Ironside, a Boston enterprise data and analytics service firm announced last week the appointment of David Michelson, Chief Operating Officer. Michelson joins the company with over 20 years of business and technical consulting leadership, helping clients solve their most critical business issues.

In his role as Chief Operating Officer, David will serve as a member of the executive leadership team. He will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the company that employs over 120 people across the continental US.

About David Michelson
David is a seasoned executive with a deep knowledge of the business analytics space from both strategic and business perspectives. He spent 13 years as a Senior Partner and Director at Computer Sciences Corporation where he spearheaded business process redesign and organizational change initiatives, encouraging and challenging both clients and consultants to explore new strategic directions and adopt the processes and technologies that best met their business needs.
With this firm foundation of proven practices and positive impact under his belt, David continued to build his reputation as a practice leader and advocate for change during his terms as a Director at Tata Consultancy Services and as a Partner at the Monitor Group. His final stop before arriving at Ironside was as a Principal at Deloitte’s Strategy & Operations Group, driving forward their management consulting efforts and serving as a trusted advisor to their clients during business transformation efforts.
David’s background has prepared him with the ideal mix of skills to take on the role of COO at Ironside. His expertise in the areas of business transformation, business strategy, and program implementation combined with his hands-on understanding of business intelligence technologies, critical client issues, and change management will allow him to help Ironside continue to serve a greater number of clients and address a broader range of business issues. David is also a thought leader in the business community at large, frequently speaking publicly on transformational change and how organizations can plan, execute, and benefit from large scale change initiatives.
