Boston, MA, October 22, 2020 — Ironside, a Boston-based cloud, data, and analytics consultancy, today announced it is now an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Advanced Consulting Partner. AWS Consulting Partners help customers design, architect, build, migrate and manage cloud solutions built on AWS.

To achieve AWS Advanced Consulting Partner status, AWS Partners must demonstrate AWS knowledge, capabilities, and customer success at scale.

“We’re very proud to be recognized as an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner,” said Tim Kreytak, Founder and CEO at Ironside. “This achievement is a reflection of Ironside’s dedication to helping our clients thrive on AWS. We focus on all aspects of managing, delivering and governing data with the purpose of driving business value via an outcome-focused approach to leveraging modern technology. The journey to AWS Advanced Consulting Partner status pushed us to gain valuable understanding of AWS and services like Amazon QuickSight, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Redshift, and more, which benefits our client engagements.”

Ironside, a leading innovator focused exclusively on the areas of Data & Analytics, advises their clients and helps design, migrate, and manage data, analytics and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) solutions. As an IBM Platinum business partner for over a decade, and an early adopter of CloudPak for Data, Ironside is uniquely positioned to provide transformative solutions for customers looking to deploy IBM based solutions on AWS. Early this year Ironside launched AscendAI, Data Science as a Service running on AWS and heavily leveraging Amazon SageMaker.

Ironside is thrilled to announce that we have been named Partner of the Year by Precisely. Formerly known as Syncsort, Precisely is a global technology company that provides innovative software, solutions and data.

“Ironside has expanded its relationship with the Pitney Bowes Software and Data team over the last few years. Syncsort’s acquisition of this team, and the birth of the Precisely brand, brings data integration, quality standardization and location driven data intelligence to a new level. We’re using our analytics capabilities to innovate and develop solutions to solve our clients’ greatest business challenges.”

TIM KREYTAK, CEO, Ironside

Augmenting internal data

As more businesses understand the importance of data, and data sources become more plentiful, merely working with internal data is no longer sufficient. External data sources provide many opportunities to enrich existing information and to improve the business value of analytic solutions.

Location-based intelligence data enables a wide array of new insight for business models. Businesses which leverage this data see great improvements in analytics as well as core business processes, both of which translate into better insights and better execution.

Demonstrating expertise

In February 2020, following its acquisition of Pitney Bowes Software and Data Group, Syncsort hosted its Sales Kickoff Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland. At this event, Ironside demonstrated our process to drive quantifiable business value by enriching client-owned data using the following types of location-based intelligence offered by Precisely:

  • property attributes
  • population sensitivity
  • boundary and risk classifications
  • geodemographic insight

For data enrichment, we used a Spectrum process enabled through Precisely software for point and spatial geo-enrichment to reduce time to populate attributes and increase the data match rate.  Ironside used data wrangling to clean and standardize the data format within an agile and scalable cloud environment, leveraging our AscendAI  rapid viability assessment to clearly show which data elements impacted the Model.

Earning accolades

This demonstration is an example of the outstanding thought leadership and expertise in the world of data which earned Ironside the 2019 Most Innovative with Data as a Differentiator award.  This award was coupled with Syncsort naming Ironside Partner of the Year for our outstanding partnership and collaboration.

“Ironside’s simplified and innovative approach to data enrichment helps enable Precisely customers to achieve data integrity and make confident decisions with AI, Machine Learning and Analytics.

JOSH ROGERS, Chief Executive Officer, Precisely

Ironside is honored to be the recipient of this award and is looking forward to the continued partnership with Precisely.
